SUMMARY
This position will be located in Ziyang AFAB plant and will be responsible for providing financial support and leadership to Align’s manufacturing operations group for both Zi yang AFAB and Chengdu Treat. The candidate should possess strong accounting and analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of the principles of Cost Accounting, good working knowledge of manufacturing operations and the ability to work across cultures in a fast pace environment. The position will work closely with the global manufacturing teams to analyze business trends, provide financial guidance and be a key contributor to the achievement of operational ives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?Perform monthly closing activities including preparation and approval of journal entries, and inventory related account reconciliations.
?Manage inventory and related transs, including physical to perpetual to general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, audit explanations, and standard costs.
?Analyze inventory adjustments over set thresholds and work with production control to determine root cause and corrective .
?Analyze manufacturing variances and identify root causes and corrective s.
?Manage the preparation and execution of annual and quarterly standard cost rolls.
?Manage the processes involving establishment of standard costs of new parts and the review and analysis of standard costs for existing parts. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of product cost data.
?Manage the periodic requirements of manufacturing systems to ensure timing and accuracy of standards and gross margins and provide meaningful analysis of results.
?Audit cycle count activity, ion of items to be counted, recount decisions, research of discrepancies, and reporting on root causes and progress toward making improvements for greater quantity and physical accuracy.
?Provide cost accounting support to cross functional areas as requested.
?Provide product cost information utilized in month end financial closing.
?Direct the development and review of cost analysis reports and work with operations to formulate corrective s.
?Interact with Internal Audit and the independent public accounting firm on quarterly reviews and/or annual audit including Sarbanes Oxley(SOX) matters.
?Liaise with external auditor and respond to audit requests.
?Analyze operating costs including ad hoc studies incorporating plant staffing, capacity and utilization, Purchase Price Variance and Make/Buy analyses as well as other cost related projects.

Additional Responsibilities:
?Ensure ERP system integrity and accuracy of general ledger and cost accounting data.
?Other duties may be assigned as needed.
?This position will report directly to the APAC Plant Controller.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
?BS in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is required.
?At least 4 years of progressive experience with mid to large U.S. publicly held companies, manufacturing company preferred.
?Up to date knowledge of both U.S. generally accepted accounting principles & PRC GAAP.
?Thorough understanding of Cost Account including standard costs and variances.
?Proven experience in collaborating with global finance teams, building relationships, proactively communicating and maintaining a standard of excellence and best business practices.
?Previous experience with supporting manufacturing operations or general manager.
?Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously with flexibility and agility, along with good business acumen and excellent organizational skills.
?Possess a strong sense of integrity, commitment to details, and intensity to meet requirements on a timely basis.
?Strong understanding of fully integrated ERP systems.
oExperience with SAP a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS
Regular business operating hours, and may have to work additional hours to meet with international constituents. May require travel to Costa Rica, Mexico and other international s as necessary.
